Gospell Music Ministry by Dan Schall
His Remnants
His Remnants will perform Sunday from 10 a.m. to noon immediately after the 9 a.m. service with Dan Schall. Marked by vocal harmonies, multiple keyboards and acoustic guitar, His Remnants has a very distinctive sound. The versatility of these musicians is showcased in musical styles ranging from folk, contemporary and soft rock to jazz and country gospel a blend of contemporary, gospel and traditional music, most of it original. The Titusville-area praise and worship band is comprised of keyboardist Patti Andres-Phillips, vocalist Shelby Knox, guitarist Kathy Firster and drummer Sam Stearns. Signing, offered by Lola Wright, adds to the total experience. Steadily gaining popularity in the region, the group began several years ago as a praise and worship team at an area church. Traditional Country
Traditional Country plays 1950s and 1960s country music, polka, waltz and square dancing. The group is comprised of Bob Alexander on guitar and vocals; Tammy Drohn on drums and vocals; Paul Vogt on bass; Bob Harrington on fiddle and lead guitar; and Terr Kinnear on pedal steel guitar. They have spent the last five years playing at Wild Country Dance Hall in Saegertown and at Spartansburg Grange Hall. This year (07), they'll be playing at the Pioneer Steam & Gas Engine Society show Friday and Saturday from 2 to 4 in the afternoon.
Pioneer Barn Band
This year our Pioneer Barn Band will be composed of Donnie Rowan, Lee Stanford, Ron Sterling and Frank Bishop. But dont be surprised if you see more than four fellows on the stage when theyre playing. Often other musicians join the group for a few numbers. Theyll be entertaining Friday and Saturday evening from 7 pm - ??
Smith Family Singers
The Smith Family Singers will be singing Friday and Saturday from about 4:30 to 6:30 pm. This family group is composed of: Front Row: Loretta Wolf, Micah Aylsworth and Maxine Aylsworth; Back Row: Carleen Fowler and Elsie Smith. Three additional family members have joined the group since this picture was taken. They are Luke and Aaron Aysworth and Amy Needler.
